The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the forced closure of countless community rec centers across the U.S. During this trying time, it’s important to support and learn from each other. To this end, we’d like to present the Community Rec COVID-19 Roundtable, sponsored by Welld Health, a virtual roundtable in which four leaders in the community recreation industry discuss how to navigate this unprecedented situation.

Topics of discussion include:

  • How community rec centers across the nation been impacted
  • Ways community rec centers are continuing to serve the community during this time
  • Best practices for navigating through the shutdown.

Panelists:

  • Chris Tointon, president and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Omaha
  • Art Krueger, director of The Wave Aquatic and Fitness Center
  • Carrie Ohorodnyk, executive director of the Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA
  • Todd Rockoff, president and CEO of the Tucson JCC

Navigating the Pandemic

This roundtable is sponsored by Welld Health.
