The Keene Family YMCA in Keene, New Hampshire, announced it has appointed Mick Blume as the Y’s next president and CEO.
Blume has served as the association’s interim CEO for the past four months and before that was the Y’s director of development and community impact.
In a statement on social media, the Keene Family YMCA said Blume knows the organization, community and mission very well, and the team couldn’t be more excited to have him leading the Y into its next chapter.
“Pretty surreal feeling to see this announcement,” said Blume. “I’m incredibly grateful to our board for their confidence in me and — most importantly — to the amazing team at the Y who make this place what it is every day. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together and incredibly excited about what’s ahead.”
