The YMCA of South Florida first went live with Traction Complete in 2023. The Y made this implementation upon hearing the recommendation of Traction Rec, a member management CRM. After seeing a demo which showcased how the new system worked, Y leadership thought Traction Complete would be a perfect fit to add to their Salesforce environment.

“It has helped clean up duplicates and integrate seamlessly with Traction Rec,” said Mike Pace, the vice president of reporting and analytics at the YMCA of South Florida. “For those looking to implement Traction Rec or any Salesforce-related product, Traction Complete is a perfect addition to clean up legacy accounts and streamline operations.”

Below, Pace details the partnership with Traction Complete, benefits to members, surprises along the way and more.

What are the benefits to your business as a result of this partnership?

The biggest benefit has been the increased efficiency of our frontline staff. When we merged multiple legacy systems, we ended up with many duplicate records. This made it difficult for our front desk and sales team. They would often find multiple entries for the same person, such as four separate records for John Smith. Traction Complete has significantly reduced these issues.

What are the benefits to your members as a result of this partnership?

Previously, duplicate records prevented the creation of new logins, but this issue has now been resolved. Additionally, Traction Complete integrates seamlessly with Traction Rec, a system widely used by Y’s. This cleanup allows our members to use the community features of Traction Rec more efficiently, including purchasing memberships and programs online without issues.

Have you been pleasantly surprised by working with Traction Complete in any way?

Yes, the system works perfectly and is very easy to use without a steep learning curve. Additionally, we have weekly meetings with Shauna, Zach and Jackie from Traction Complete, and their support has been outstanding. The people at Traction Complete are the best.

What else can you tell other rec center professionals about the benefits of working with Traction Complete?

Especially for Y’s, Traction Complete helps clean up from legacy systems seamlessly. It integrates perfectly with Traction Rec. The team understands well the industry’s pain points and specific needs.
