The Community Rec Magazine team is proud to announce the inaugural Community Rec Leadership Summit, taking place March 1-3 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
With a mission to increase healthy lifestyles by educating and empowering health and wellness professionals, our team is honored to take this mission a step further in 2023 by providing a unique and valuable experience for the industry we serve.
The Leadership Summit is an exclusive peer collaboration event that will bring together 40 of the top YMCA, JCC and Parks and Recreation professionals for two and a half days of roundtable discussions, networking and unique experiences in a fun and relaxing environment.
Roundtable discussions include:

- I feel So Seen – Discussing DEI
- Mindset Matters – Aiding in the Youth Mental Health Crisis
- The People’s Choice – Fundraising & Capital Projects
- Be Like the Jetsons – The Future of Community Rec
These discussions will be led by our hand-picked moderators – two industry professionals who need no introduction – Keith Vinson and Rodrigua Ross of the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas. As two leaders who inspire collaboration in so many ways, they are the perfect individuals to lead these conversations.
