Sound systems are essential to creating more engaging atmospheres and enhancing member experiences. Supreme Audio, an industry leader in state-of-the-art fitness sound systems, can help take the quality of your fitness offerings to the next level.

Here, Louie Klenke, the equipment manager at the YMCA of Greater Richmond, shares his positive experience with the quality products and customer service of Supreme Audio:

How were you introduced to Supreme Audio and why did you decide to partner with them?

LK: We’ve been customers for a few years. One of our wellness directors had reached out to them and was buying some small, extra parts we needed. We really got the partnership kicked off when we decided to start updating some of our facilities — we started with our 10th Street location. We sat down and figured out what we needed for the facility, and we were able to collaborate about stuff we could reuse and then stuff we needed to buy new. They were super helpful in helping products we already had work with new equipment.

We had such a great experience with Supreme Audio — we had two more renovations later that year, in addition to our 10th Street YMCA, at our North Side and Petersburg locations. In these renovations, we were able to not only upgrade our studios, but we were able to do our whole entire wellness offerings. Supreme Audio helped with both surround sound audio and some audio-visual stuff in our studios. They were also tremendously helpful financially, as we had three big capital projects in which we were trying to add as much equipment as we could at the time.

What does your Y’s staff love most about Supreme Audio?

LK: Their product is great quality, it ships really quickly, and they have great customer support. You can get fast quotes — I can call anyone on their team and say, ‘Hey, I need five colored light remotes,’ they’ll have a quote for me within about 15 minutes, we’ll check out around the 20-minute mark, and the remotes have arrived two days later. So they have great staff support and a great turnaround time.

Why is it so important to have a top-notch sound system like Supreme Audio?

LK: We are trying to compete with all the other facilities around us. We do our best at having the best and most up-to-date equipment so we can continue to teach more current classes and be competitive with surrounding facilities. Supreme Audio has been super helpful in creating that environment and helping us financially maintain that.

How would you rate Supreme Audio’s customer support?

LK: 10 out of 10, for sure. [COO] Jane Plaugher is who I work with, and she’ll call back once a project is finished just to get a recap and make sure everything’s working. Doing a recap with their customers is a huge benefit because it really shows their involvement in the project and engagement with customers.

Why should other community rec professionals consider working with Supreme Audio?

LK: The biggest thing is they’re a really friendly team to work with, they’re willing to work with you financially, and their customer care and customer service is great. They are truly all about the customer and not selling just selling products.
