Why did you decide to partner with Matrix? What specific problem were you looking to solve?

What benefits and successes has your organization achieved as a result of the partnership with Matrix?
Our staff is equipped with both the tools and knowledge to assist our members in achieving their wellness objectives effectively. The integration of our technologies has allowed us to further monitor and help optimize our members’ progress.
For example, our Myzone wearable heart rate band integrates with Matrix to track effort points to see what color zone a member is in. It’s instant motivation but also allows members to connect with one another. Also, there is integration within our YMCA mobile app between Matrix, Apple Watch and Samsung Galaxy to seamlessly track progress and activity.
How has Matrix contributed to your organization’s ability to effectively connect with members, communicate its mission, and deliver its services?
Matrix’s equipment and technology have transformed how we connect with our members. The interactive features provided by their equipment enable us to offer personalized guidance, track progress automatically and celebrate achievements. Engaging our members and celebrating their successes demonstrates our investment in their fitness journey and is at the core of our mission of the YMCA to focus on spirit, mind and body.
