Upace, a mobile app platform enhancing engagement for community recreation centers, is excited to announce its integration with ZAMA Health, a leading wellness hub serving the fitness community. This partnership will directly benefit YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles (YMCA LA) by providing their members with enhanced mental wellness resources through curated videos, peer-to-peer support and guided exercises in their Upace custom-branded application.
“We are excited to be partnering with ZAMA Health to bring these new resources to our members and employees directly through our custom branded Upace app— LA Y,” said Victor Dominguez, the president and CEO of the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, in a statement. “Through this innovative platform, we are able to offer mindfulness and mental wellness resources which will help address such a critical need of thousands of individuals and families throughout our LA communities. Together, we will help transform our community’s well-being by bringing mental wellness tools directly to our members and employees.”
Brendan Sullivan, the CEO of ZAMA Health, added, “Partnering with YMCA LA through our integration with Upace is an exciting step forward in our mission to support holistic wellness. This collaboration not only expands the YMCA’s mental wellness offerings but also integrates nutrition and financial wellness resources, providing a more comprehensive support system for their members. Our goal is to empower individuals in their wellness journeys, ensuring they have access to the tools and resources they need to thrive, both mentally and physically.”
This integration with Upace allows YMCA LA to offer its members a seamless blend of physical and mental wellness resources, tailored to their needs. By incorporating ZAMA’s platform, YMCA LA members can gain valuable insights into their own wellness goals and trends, engage with mindfulness exercises and content, and access ZAMA’s network of clinical partners. With real-time data, ZAMA can even make recommendations to resources offered at or around YMCA facilities, enabling members to get the most out of their YMCA membership and achieve their fitness and wellness objectives more effectively.
Rachel Koretsky, the CEO of Upace, expressed her enthusiasm. “We are thrilled to partner with ZAMA Health to bring additional resources and support for mental wellness to the members at YMCA LA through the Upace member engagement and reservation platform,” she said. “Integrations like these are essential in creating a holistic member experience, where individuals can access everything they need for their health and wellness through one seamless mobile application.”
