The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and public health related restrictions has created unprecedented challenges for rec centers and facilities. From increased equipment cleanings and social distancing guidelines to limits on the number of clients allowed inside buildings, ensuring your team is connected and responsive has never been more important. The Motorola DLR Series provides staff an easy-to-use and effective communication tool to stay connected while meeting required social distancing measures.

A powerful digital signal ensures all team members can communicate throughout your entire facility, including multiple floors, with consistently clear audio. Improved communication will help staff enforce proper social distancing of clients in all sections of the facility, including the main entrance, front desk and workout areas. A well-connected team will be able to more closely monitor equipment usage to ensure proper sterilization when necessary, as well as quickly address emergency situations. Staff meetings can also be conducted from a safe distance without interrupting operations by utilizing the DLR Series.

The DLR Series also has no FCC license requirements, eliminating burdensome fees and paperwork. Integrating the DLR Series into your everyday operations is made easy thanks to a user-friendly design that operates like a mobile phone.

“Effective staff communication is essential for community rec facilities to successfully meet the unique challenges presented by COVID-19,” said Joe Wood, the owner of Tech Wholesale, Inc., an authorized reseller of Motorola Two-Way Radios. “Motorola’s DLR Series provides rec centers a reliable and powerful tool to communicate while maintaining social distancing requirements.”
