Matrix Fitness, the world’s fastest-growing commercial fitness brand, proudly announces a new integration with Upace, a leading member experience and reservations platform. Effective from May 1, 2024, this integration establishes a seamless connection between Matrix connected consoles and the Upace platform, allowing both Matrix and Upace customers to offer a unified workout tracking solution. Members can conveniently log into Matrix-connected consoles using their Upace credentials, with workout data effortlessly syncing to their personal accounts within the Upace platform.

In addition, when combined with Matrix Engage 360, Upace customers can provide a comprehensive and personalized training guidance solution. Members can access training plans and assignments directly through the Upace mobile app. The app also facilitates communication with trainers and provides personalized training guidance created in Engage 360, empowering members to achieve their health and wellness goals.

“At Matrix, our approach to technology is centered around meeting our customers where they are. Ensuring that our products connect seamlessly with a customer’s existing technology ecosystem continues to play a critical role in the relationships we forge with our customers,” says Matt McConley, Senior Digital Product Manager for Johnson Health Tech/Matrix Fitness. “This integration with Upace not only ensures seamless connectivity between our equipment and their app but also leverages the capabilities of Engage 360 to offer a fully integrated and personalized training solution. By enabling members to track their workouts, access tailored training plans, and communicate with trainers all in one place, we are transforming how fitness facilities can support and engage their members.”

Upace caters to both single and multi-location centers, offering a standard app and custom app capabilities for a branded member experience. The Upace app simplifies reservations, bolsters engagement, and streamlines operations for recreation centers, including YMCAs, JCCs, and park and recreation facilities. It helps attract new members, provides real-time data to personalize member experiences, enhances communication, streamlines administration and operations, and improves member retention.

“At Upace, we believe that promoting physical and mental wellbeing in our communities is essential, and that technology is key to operating efficiently while keeping members engaged,” says Rachel Koretsky, CEO and Founder of Upace. “It is our mission to help our clients thrive and continue to be the hub of the community and with this integration with Matrix Fitness will help us continue to transform the member experience through connectivity with the equipment and through Engage 360’s personalized training.”

Upace is available throughout North America and currently available in English. The integration supports all Matrix connected consoles including the Matrix Touch, Touch XL, Premium LED, Target Training, Intelligent Training, and Virtual Training Cycle Consoles.
